new video! - Summer Recap

So a funny story. I was filming for the new video in Bracebridge, Ontario and I'm bombing down this paved pathway weaving around thru a forest thing and im going pretty fast. Then it comes to the end and it comes out into a huge parking lot and go figure there's a large pile of gravol spread all over the center of the parking lot over the pavement just where this pathway thing led out and I smoke the thing my board flies into the air behind me and i start running ahead only to find that my feet can't keep up with the velocity I'm moving and I go from running ahead to rolling ahead... Yeah it sucked. I got up pretty damaged and I was like "alright that was interesting... and painful..." and I look on the ground and remember. My camera is in my pocket. Wait no it 'was' in my pocket. It is now a chunk of metal and my video is officially cut short. Yeah so that's why you now have a summer recap with new and old footage and not a whole new video. Sorry for the inconvenience but hey what do you really care. Would've made a sweet video of me bombing that path. Too bad the camera to record it was in my pocket...

Skating in Gravenhurst

So I was dropped off in Gravenhurst for 6 hours yesterday... One of the hottest days in summer and barely any shade around the place... I got some photos at least. Best shade really though was if I layed down in the bare shadow of the ledge I was skating at the park as you can see in the last photo. It worked at least. haha.

So I've been getting footage here and there from the halfpipe at MBC (camp my dad directs) and from a trip to Aylmer, ON i made the past weekend. Here`s the footage I`ve come up with:

So my computer is still down and wont be up for a long time i thinking. Lucky for me and anyone who cares for this blog I've gotten ahold of a laptop and been putting some stuff together using it. There's so far been two major videos I'd say. The first one was just what happens when a quarter pipe is old and crappy. It's just inevitable. Haha... Then of course me and another Scorp Skater Alex Degeus who is now a part of our upstarting team type thing had to do some halfpipe skating on Go Skateboard Day. Ha. Here they are:

So my actual computer is down as of the moment with a virus and i dont know when it'll be running again so blogs wont be posted for a while probably but ill try and get photos up if i can. Here's the latest photos I've gotten:

Skating my box as a bank...

A random skate sesh today led to a ollie onto a bank thing to a tailslide nosegrab slightly on the top left.

Basically how the segment turned out:

Newmarket, Bradford, and Alex's

So what happens when I take a trip to my friend Alex's in Newmarket? The start of a 2 man band for one thing. Band name END. Everything Now Dies. And then there's the random trip into newmarket to street skate. Then the half hour walk or so to Bradford and halfway thru filming at the first place our camera dies and we're left to just taking quick shots in the little time the camera stays open. But i thought we got some sweet shots. Check em out then the video:

once the camera died we resorted to taking pictures in the few seconds the shutter would stay open before dying and closing again.... wasnt too successful but it did lead to this nice crooks 180 thinger out,

and Alex didnt get the newmarket 4 set kickflip but nailed this steezy kickflip down a Bradford 4 set the next day.

Went to the Keswick skate park yesterday and got back with this photo of a nosegrind on a ledge. Did that nosegrind so many times to capture it at a good angle and good lighting.

Commercial

So I'll be auditioning in a commercial tomorow. Or at least I think it's an audition. It could be the actual thing actually... I dont know really ok hahha but ya if all goes well... look for me on tv :P lmao ya so ill be hopefully getting some more footage too tomorow then. I've been filming and got some stuff and will be getting more over the next while so the new video is in the making. I'll try and put little things I don't need in the good video up early every now and then so the site isn't bare for like a month hahaha

Title says it all really, well there's also a random can with a fireball in it but hey wutever. (and the last trick in the video is a 5-0 nosegrab on my big quarter pipe that was really nice actually, sorry for the poor lighting, it was night lol)

Hey so I'm currently gathering footage and will be putting a new video together soon enuff... could take awhile actually but it'll be 3 or 4 minutes this one but till then enjoy some extra footage from a mini pipe sesh followed by a small line and manson blaring thru the skating:

So yesterday, May 3d was pretty much booooring so I ended up building this little piece of KRAAAP bank/quarterpipe/ramp/barrier object thinger (you'll see in the video at the end) not much came of it unfortunately. I did end up going to Beaverton and hitting the set a couple times. (litterally, those were my only tries in the video...) anyway watch the video now. i know thats all you really wanna see anyway haha..

So once again i've had a while since i've posted a video and id like to say if you would like to get some footage of yourself on here id love to see what you've got and preferably if you lived around newmarket, bolsover, barry, orillia, lindsay, fenelon falls or somewhere close to those i could meet you and see if you wanna get footage on this blog. my goal is to actually start a lil skate team for scorpskate but i dunno many skaters around here that have done any really good footage for here yet but if you got some let me see it. email me at subatomicsk8fox@hotmail.com and if you send me junk ill just label you as junk mail so be serious. anyway here's some footage i've gotten since last i posted:

So it's been well over a week since I've posted something and i havent gotten much skate footage but now that the snows completely dried up- well pretty much -i'll be getting some more footage other than just in my driveway. but until i do here's some graffiti and skating I've done today once again, in my driveway (its mostly graffiti but there's two tricks at the start)(if you dont wanna watch the graffiti part... then just dont lol)...

My New Skate Blog WELCOME

HEY to those who know me from my piczo site thanks for dropping in on my new blog site. I'll be doing a lot more specific skate stuff from now on but I'm sure you'll find some random-ass stuff here and there. Haahaha. But ya I've got some new decent footage I'll probably be uploading to here right after I finish publishing this post and if its not on here then you were so unlucky to fall upon my site seconds after this is posted and yet before this footage is on. THAT SUX. haha to you. But to those who didnt fall upon this unfortunate string of event enjoy the footage and enjoy the new blog site thinger.
